Shelley is a beautiful lady who performs Shelley Doll, as well as fairy tale princesses. Shelley's approach is to make the experience special for the birthday child, and the guests. Shelley takes the time with each child to help them experience the wonder of the day. Her magic program is 20 - 30 minutes, featuring different puppets according to the character to help with the magic. Of course the birthday child helps too! Along with her program, Shelley will face paint beautiful pictures on the children, or make fanciful balloon sculptures depending upon which options you choose. Her face painting is quite extraordinary - some of the best in the DFW area. We recommend her for girl parties of 12 or fewer children. If over 12 will be at the party, book her for 1 ½ hours to give her enough time for her lovely face painting.
Shelley has a pleasant, engaging manner which puts kids at ease. When she is face painting, she talks sweetly to the children. Shelley arrives in her costume, winning hearts from the moment she walks in the door. While she is welcomed by all age groups, you will see the most impact with children 4 - 6. She is ready to answer all the questions little girls ask, such as "Where is the prince?" "What are your step-sisters doing while you come here?" or the question they ask her mermaid, "How did you get here from the ocean? " She is a warm hearted friend that girls absolutely love! You will be glad you invited Shelley!
Extra Fun! Do you have a daughter planning a sleep over? Try the Shelley Super Slumber Party! She'll come in the evening, and face paint your daughter and her friends; make them fun balloon sculptures; and fill the atmosphere with musical fun. This is especially good for children 6-9; it's fun without being 'babyish'.
