Kelly - Puppeteer Extraordinaire
Photo of Kelly with a puppet.

Kelly Wilhelmi is a master puppeteer.  She was mentored by Rosalee Perryman, who owns a puppet theater in Bransom, MO.   Kelly builds all her own beautiful marionettes with an eye for detail.  While not a ventriloquist, Kelly makes these puppets come to life with her excellent puppetry skills and the adorable music and voices that play through her sound system for her little friends.  Children delight in seeing animals, people, and unusual oddities come to life before them.  Kelly sets up a large backdrop, but she will work in front of the backdrop manipulating the puppets which is a much more engaging style of puppetry vs. the Punch and Judy style of long ago.  Kelly also will intersperse some magical routines into her shows to “mix up the fun” for the kids so that the show is even more entertaining!  Her shows are age appropriate for 3 and up – but even grown ups will delight in watching her work!  A former children’s pastor at a Baptist church, Kelly’s shows are always “G” rated and often times will have a non- scriptural message in it for the children – like “Tell the Truth” or “Be kind to Others”.

Kelly needs a performance area of 10- 12  feet long by 8 feet wide minimum.  Outdoor venues are NOT recommended due to wind blowing her curtain.  If the performance is inside a tent that would be ok.  She will need electricity to plug in her sound system.
